Most people cannot look at a room and say, "there are 134 people here." And I am not one of those people who can. I thought when I did the story on Geroge McGovern that I saw about 50 people there, turns out I was off by about 50!
I called the PR today to check out the number and she told me that there were eight or nine rows of about 10 and then people standing in the back of the room.
Opps, I was a little off. But I could've sworn it was 50 til she told me how many people where actually int he rows. I was thinking seven rows of anout six.
